i’ve sacked my first one before because he was ripping me off (6 lessons and then still not doing anything except starting, stopping and turning around roundabouts!) and constantly shouting at me. i looked through the phonebook and although there were loads of driving schools, none indicated they taught automatic, except for 3 large ads – one for a private school, and the other 2 for AA school of motoring, and BSM. i called the private school and when i asked the instructor how many lessons does he think i need before i can take the practical. he said 50. straightaway. sounds like an awful excessive number of lessons to me! tho’ he charged £19 a lesson which is cheaper than the £21 a lesson charged by AA and BSM.
So I think – ditching the private school! Sounds like another rip off. Yet I’m now left with only AA and BSM options – but I read so many bad reviews about them on the Net. I don’t want to go calling each driving school (80+ of them) listed in the phonebook. Any recommends??

I was interested in starting a small side business teaching stick shift because not many driving schools do. Do I need to get licensed as a driving school in order to give lessons? What does one need to do to start a manual driving school in NJ and approximately how much does it all cost?

I’m going on holiday to mauritius in the summer and I want to take some driving lessons, considering it will cost a lot cheaper than in the UK.

Are there any driving schools besides Sears in Dallas, Texas who can help you get the drivers license.I already have my permit, so I want to find a school where they can help me get the license.

i live in markham, but i cant seem to find the locations of where i can take my g1 written test in markham. i dont want to be traveling so far each time i go take a test. plz help.
also are there any good driving schools you would recommend in markham, personal experience would be great, preferably a place that isnt too expensive.
