Hi I want to start taking driving lessons. can anyone recommend a good driving instructor in Dublin in Clondalkin if passable a female driving in driving instructor I think I would feel more relax with a female instructor rather than a male but I guess it doesn’t really matter.

I began my driving lessons in january 2008, I continued and took multiple tests with the same instructor until April 2009 when I decided to take a break from my lessons. I spoke to a friend who referred me to another instructor, who I am now learning with, he has told me that my previous instructor was only a trainee instructor, apparently legally they are allowed to teach, but he never told me he was not fully qualified and still charged me £22 a lesson! I feel cheated considering how much money I spent on my lessons and tests with him! I guess my question is: is this ok? Are the meant to tell their pupils? He was never the best instructor, he was always texting and answered calls during my lessons, he actually took me to his house on multiple occasions so he could pop in and I had to sit and wait outside! I would just like to know your thoughts.

Is is necessary to get driving lessons from a professional driving instructor before you take your driving test?

I have been having driving lessons for about a month now and the other day my driving instructor really annoyed me. He has never been particularly patient and the last 2 lessons i have come back feeling like crap and never getting in a car again. And with this instructor the way it works is you pay him for booking a lesson so you are always one lesson ahead and then the one before your test is free if that makes sence. Anyway this week I didnt have enough money to book and asked if i could pay him double on my next lesson and he turned round and said to me :’ I am not a charity’. Its not like i owe him money im paying for a lesson in advance. Anyway i was wondering if you think i should change instructors because i dont think he should speak to his customers that way. And I feel like im loosing confidence behind the wheel because of him.

|Hey I just found this guys contact details on 2pass.co.uk and he has his full name and he says that he is an AA driving instructor… I rung up AA and they said he is an AA Franchise Driving instructor…. He also said he has an AA car… I want to know is this guy safe to do driving lessons with and can I trust him with the money? If he decides to run…. Does AA have his contact details to track him down? Please Help!!!

I want to start taking driving lessons soon and I would feel much, much more comfortable taking my driving lessons with a Muslim woman instructor. If you know of any in Toronto, please post the name, the phone number, and the name of the driving school. Thank-you!

I’m going on holiday to mauritius in the summer and I want to take some driving lessons, considering it will cost a lot cheaper than in the UK.

Can anyone direct me to some driving schools or driving instructors in mauritius?

Also, if you could help with an estimate on how much 1 lesson in Mauritius would cost?

I am wanting to start up my driving lessons again, and I have been looking and there are so many schools out there its hard to choose beween them all!
Can any of you reccomend any good instructors and/or schools?
Also, does any one know what the driving school Local is like as I was thinking of going with them.
