the day i was supposed to have a driving lesson i phoned my instructor to cancel it because i was ill. the problem is that she says she’s going to charge me the money since i didn’t give her enough notice (i was feeling fine the previous day). can she do this? i thinks its harsh shes charging me, someones reccommended that i just change driving instructors but thats also harsh, what should i do?

also along the theme of driving how long does it take people to pass?
it was a short notice thing which is why i think i’m being charged, but as i said i went to sleep feeling fine but woke up achy which is why i cancelled. there was no contract so it was just surprising that i would have to pay.
and yeah i mean pass the test, i doing a hour lesson a week so how many lessons is normal to pass?

Can i switch driving driving instructor for my driving lesson, i am about to start and the instructor called me yesterday to schedule time, however he makes it seem like my schedule doesn’t work for him, and he was pretty loud over the phone i’m not sure if its the way he is or he was yelling, but his voice freaked me out, haha, but yea is it possible to ask the driving school to arrange for a differ instructor and if so, what is the best way to ask in your opinion. thanks for your time
