Can a 17 year old in Minnesota get their drivers license without getting their permit?
Im 17 and I live in Minnesota I want to get my license to help with transportation to my job, but 0 to take the Drivers Education class is a little much fo me. So I was wondering if there was any way to get my Drivers License without taking the class to get my permit. If anybody knows the answer that would really help me out. thanks!
Don't driving instructors feel guilty about their impact on environment?
These days people are being encourages not to many any non-essential car journeys – yet that is how a driving instructor makes their living!! Their career is one big carbon footprint! And not only do they use loads of precious petrol, but they enable others to do the same by teaching people to drive and allowing them into the world of driving!!
I was just thinking about this as I have just got a car and am learning to drive, but haven’t yet had lessons. I think all the environmental issues must have been drilled into me, as although I would like to learn to drive, the journeys I make are often pointless just for me to practice and I feel a little guilty for this.
Do driving instuctors feel guilty? Do they care about the environment?
Are there any other proffessions that people ought to feel guilty in?
Best way to tell my driving instructor I don't want him t teach me no more?
I have been learning with my driving instructor for about 5 months now. I have already taken one test and failed because of my parallel parking. I have another test coming up and if I don’t pass I think it will be best to no longer let him teach me and find someone else. What would be the best way to tell him this?
The driving force behind Ulverston Adult Education Classes
Jude Godden and her team put in an amazing amount of work to get our evening, day and weekend courses in place. Without this team, operating out of Cartmel School, we wouldn’t have the wide range of courses that have been made available this year. An exciting brochure is now available in the Library and Town Hall.
I'm a rookie driver and I'm terrible!! Anybody else ever have the same problem?
I recieved my learners permit last November and my stepdad has been trying to teach me to drive ever since. I have allready taken a drivers education class but for some reason I just can’t get the hang of it. When I first started out I didn’t even know that you were supposed to drive on the right side of the road! (yeah I’m that bad!) and I am always forgetting simple things like signaling before you switch lanes and yielding to other cars before you turn left. I feel like I am NEVER going to get the hang of it. Can anybody else relate? Or does anybody else know a cool way to become a better driver?
LINDSAY LOHAN SENTENCED TO 90 DAYS – BREAKS DOWN IN FRONT OF JUDGE
BREAKING NEWS VIDEO: Los Angeles – A Beverly Hills judge ruled Tuesday that Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation in a drunk driving case when she failed to attend alcohol education classes and sentenced her to 90 days in jail. Judge Marsha N. Revel stated several instances over the last few years in which the actress lied about taking drugs and drinking. “It’s like someone who cheats but doesn’t think it’s cheating if they don’t get caught,” Revel said. Before sentencing, a tearful Lohan addressed the court, saying “as far as I knew I was in compliance with my programs.” “I wasn’t trying to get special treatment,” the actress said. “I have to provide for myself. I have to work. Having said that, I did everything to balance my jobs and showing up. I’m not taking this as a joke. It’s my life. It’s my career…I take responsibility for my actions. I’ve tried to do the best I can. It’s been such a long haul, I don’t want you to think that I don’t respect you.” Prosecutors had argued that the star of “Mean Girls,” “Freaky Friday” and “Herbie Fully Loaded” failed to comply with the weekly attendance directive for her alcohol education classes. An operator of the class testified that Lohan had nine absences.
Bad Driving Instructors!!!?
ok here is the thing… i am learing to drive and 1 had 3 instructors. my first had medical problems so he retired the onther one got a job in Katar so he went there and the one i got now! i had about 110 hours in total at £21 per hour!!! and yet my instructor is telling me that i am not ready for test amd if i even atempt to have test he is treatning me that he will take his car away and i will have to find a new car.. pay insurence etc… and he allways says "you got another 6 lessons and you will be ready!!!"… 6 lessons later he says same thing… and so on!!! if i was a bad driver i would say, yeah sure, fine you are rite! BUT i am a good driver and it just seems that my instructor is getting money out of me! do you think i should change instructor or stick this this one???
well he says that i am inconsistent! and thats his excuse for EVERYTHING! so i would be driving for 3 hours perfectly.. and then do 1 mistake and he would make me stop and say. "see your not ready for the test as you are inconsistent" we need more lessons!
Best online drivier's education course? (Pink slip/permit)?
Hi there! I decided to take an online course in order to obtain my pink slip (permit? not sure if it’s the same thing). I am currently 16 and I was not able to take the Drivers Education class that was provided at my school last year. I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a legit/authentic/reliable online course that offers the complete driver’s education preparation as well as the official pink slip itself. Thanks for your time!
by the way, i was planning to use this site: www.driversedtogo.com but I’m not sure if it’s reliable.
